Our Mission:

To empower  young girls to stay physically, mentally and politically active and engaged in our community

Our Mission

Using a feminist intersectional lens to provide resources for young girls to learn more about self advocacy, and become self actualised through engagement: in sports, innovative STEM programming, and community advocacy.

Emilie attends the Black Lives Matter Freedom School Program. At the end of summer, she runs an artisanal lemonade stand to fundraise school supplies for marginalised young girls within her community. It is our goal to offer year round resources and run programs specifically geared for marginalized young girls.

Freedom School

Freedom School is a FREE three week program for children aged four to ten. The purpose of the project is to respond to a lack of humanizing, self-affirming, queer positive educational opportunities for Black children in the Greater Toronto Area.

Support Black Lives Matter Freedom School Program as they currently fundraising for the 2018 summer program.

Lemons to Lemonade

Emilie organises and runs her own artisanal lemonade stand. She hand squeezes each lemon (about three dozen per batch) and uses her Jamaican grandmother's recipe to recreate a very special blend of Island paradise in each jar.

In 2017  the funds she raised for back-to-school supplies supported four racialized young girls within her community.
